Brockport is pleased to announce that we have simplified our scholarship program for the 2022-23 admissions cycle. The revamped Extraordinary Scholarship Program does not require a separate application; instead students' applications are automatically reviewed during the admissions process for eligibility and awarded at the time of acceptance. Details of these new scholarships include:
Green Scholarship
$2,500 / Year
High School GPA 88 average or 3.0 GPA Campus Residency Requirement Yes Required College GPA for Renewal 3.25 Maximum Years of Eligibility 4
Gold Scholarship
$4,500 / Year
High School GPA 93 average or 3.5 GPA Campus Residency Requirement Yes Required College GPA for Renewal 3.25 Maximum Years of Eligibility 4
Prometheus (Honors) Scholarship
$6,000 / Year
Awarded to qualified Honors Students. Includes: campus parking pass, priority registration privileges, first choice placement in a Living Learning Community, and more. A secondary review process is required.
The following scholarships can be stacked with the scholarships above:
Empire Scholarship for Out of State Students
$6,500 / Year
Awarded to qualified non-NYS residents to help offset the cost of out-of-state tuition.
Residential Scholars Award
Free Housing for your First Year
One-time award for first-year students with 96 or higher high school average or 3.85 high school GPA.
Eagle Scholarship
$1,000 / Year
High School GPA 90 average or 3.2 GPA Campus Residency Requirement Yes
Just a reminder, SUNY Brockport is willing to assist students by covering the cost of the Common Application thus eliminating a major burden. To learn more about this program and how students can access their SUNY Brockport application waiver, please visit our website.
