Do you have what it takes to be a leader in your community? Are you interested in building your leadership skills? If so, please consider applying for the HOBY Leadership Seminar which will be held on the Camp Chipinaw in Swan Lake, NY in Sullivan County from June 3rd to June 5th.
Each year, Beacon High School can send one sophomore representative to attend the program for free! If you are interested, please submit an essay via Google Docs (no more than two pages) to Ms. Polhamus explaining your thoughts on what it means to be a leader and how you feel attending the HOBY Leadership Seminar will help you grow as a leader.

Be an active volunteer at your local fire department! Check out the incentives for students to serve, FASNY HELP has developed the Higher Education Learning Plan. It provides tuition reimbursement to individuals attending community college for up to 80 credit hours!
