The Annual School Budget Vote and Election will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.
There are four (4) seats for terms on the Board of Education as follows:
Three (3) members to the Board of Education for three year terms (commencing July 1, 2022 and expiring June 30, 20250
One (1) member for a two year and six week term (commencing May 17, 2022 and expiring on June 30, 2024)
Citizens interested in running for a seat on the board will find the School Board Candidate packet available for download below:
The packet may also be obtained by calling Kelly Pologe, Clerk of the Board, (845) 838-6900 ext. 2032 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. The packet can then be picked up in person or it can be mailed to the candidate.
Candidates for the Board of Education shall be nominated by a petition directed to the District Clerk.
A qualified voter is a person who is a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age, and a resident of the school district for at least 30 days prior to the date of the Budget Vote. A qualified voter is not required to be a registered voter.
Petitions must state the residence of each signer, and the name and residence of each candidate.
